Use and Development
The Firm’s Real Estate Department provides legal services in virtually
all aspects of real estate matters, including zoning and planning. Our
real estate attorneys regularly appear before planning boards and zoning
boards in connection with procuring subdivision, site plan and variance approvals.
Berman, Sauter, Record & Jardim’s development clients
rely on the ability of the Firm’s attorneys to coordinate and prosecute
complex land use matters. In that regard, the Firm frequently participates
in the procurement of permits and approvals from the DEP, DOT, County
Planning Boards and Soil Conservation Districts. The Real Estate Department
frequently prepares governing documents and registration statements for
various forms of planned unit developments and obtains the required
approvals from the Department of Community Affairs. The Firm regularly
represents developers of residential, retail and commercial projects in
land use matters. In addition, we have significant expertise
representing wireless telecommunications carriers in development
applications.
