Berman, Sauter, Record & Jardim’s employment law practice involves the representation of employers concerning diverse aspects of the employment relationship. We counsel our clients on an ongoing basis to assist them in the development and implementation of sound personnel policies consistent with the law and to avoid litigation.

Our Firm’s practice also includes the representation of employers in the defense of lawsuits involving all forms of employment discrimination, including discrimination based upon gender, race, national origin, sexual orientation, religion, age and disability. We counsel our clients on matters including the Americans with Disabilities Act, sexual harassment/hostile environment and hiring practices. We further advise clients with respect to handbooks, personnel policies, contracts of employment, applications for employment and reduction in force issues. We draft employee manuals, individual contracts of employment, convenants not to compete, confidentiality agreements, and a wide range of documents arising from the employment relationship. We also advise our clients concerning the protection of intellectual property, including patents, trademarks, trade secrets and copyrights.
